The Branch organises all across the communications industry. We have members in BT and Openreach (where over 95% of eligible staff are CWU members), Aurelius, CBRE, Virgin Media, Sky, COLT, Equinix, Digital Realty, Telehouse, 3, and many many more. Membership is growing as staff see the benefits of being organised in the CWU. Statistics show that workers in unionised companies have higher pay and better benefits. Union workplaces are also safer workplaces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On your own you have very little power to influence management. Join the CWU and you won\u2019t be on your own \u2013joining together with your colleagues means you can make a real difference to your working life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By getting organised you and your colleagues can work to get union recognition giving you the legal right to elect representatives to negotiate on the issues that affect your working life such as your pay, benefits, job security, health and safety, and pensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember there is strength in numbers \u2013 make sure you tell your colleagues about the benefits of union membership. Join the CWU for a real voice at work!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
